Luca has a pet cat and Jean has a pet dog, so those would be their favorites. As for Bianca and Annabelle, I never really thought about that, but I think Bianca would like wolves and Annabelle would like chinchillas.

It’s weird that widow and widower are gendered terms because widower seems like it means someone who causes someone else to become a widow, instead of being a man whose spouse died.
Like, instead of someone being a widower because his spouse died, it’s because he killed someone and caused their spouse to become a widow. Make sense?
Do not attempt to explain the linguistic background behind the reason the words are constructed like this. I will most likely not understand and get bored but will appreciate the effort nonetheless.
